Bought a Tivo HD and a 1TB HD to save a few bux over buying a XL.

Ok to just pop the new guy in there via WinMFS back-up restore?

Should I go thru set-up without cable cards and then upgrade?

Should I wait for cable card installation, then upgrade?

Opening your TiVo voids the warranty, so you might want to get it connected and confirm that all is well before doing the upgrade.
