Did I miss it or have they not revisited the issue of the new director shredding a piece of paper in last season's finale?

I am beginning to think that they were going to make that action of his something important, but during the summer, they devided to make one of the agents a mole instead, so they have dripped the idea. It could come up again sometime though. The ratings have been really great lately, so they are likely not wanting to mess up a good thing.

It most certainly will come up again this season. NCIS is really good about planting little clues early in the season and having them come to fruition by the end.
