I was right about Pam just showing up in this episode! Though I thought it would be at the beginning, they did a nice job of dragging out the suspense.
Poor Michael. He got some from the concierge but it just made him more unhappy.
Loved drunk Oscar and Andy! Great stuff there. And Angela answering the phone while she's with Dwight was too much.

I really liked this episode. Sparked some interesting storylines going forward. As well as continued existing ones.
I also thought it was pretty cool that the blonde concierge is the blonde cop from Reno 911.

Thus endth the speculation that Andy and Angela have done anything sexual (as if there was any doubt).
It's funny though. A year ago, Michael Scott would have been thrilled to be hooking up with the Concierge.
Now, he just wants Holly.
And Pam's back!

Are we supposed to think that Michael got some from the concierge? I took it that she led him on to get drinks, etc. but then when it got down to it, she kicked him out of her place.
I wonder if corporate knows that Michael took two extra people with him on the trip.

That is a take on a well-known cheesy pickup line "where would you like to have breakfast tomorrow?" (or similar). That kind of pickup line is right up Michael's alley, similar to the "that's what she said" humor. So that line may have just been Michael doing his usual frat-boy humor thing.

I completely agree. Michael is clearly too hung up on Holly -- therefore explaining the telephone rant to David Wallace the next day -- he did NOT "close the deal" with the Concierge. I would expect that he would have led the Concierge on, and then when it got down to it, he would have talked about Holly until she suddenly kicked him out of her room, forgetting his shoes.
If he actually did get some, he wouldn't have been kicked out in such a manner. He is not actually a "player", but probably could be if he wasn't so insecure.

A possible line from next week...
Michael, in his office talking to the camera...
"Did I 'get some' from the concierge lady? A gentleman never tells, but yes, I did, sort of. :) We went back to her place and watched a little TV, and then I rubbed her feet. Then we ordered a pizza, and... then she got a really bad headache and we mutually called it a night. She has really nice feet--probably the top two I've ever held, although Holly's left foot is pretty darn nice, and Dwight, for a man, actually has very well formed feet. So maybe the concierge lady is the top four and five, and Holly's right foot a close sixth."

I definitely think he did as well. First, she was all over him when they left the bar and she was the one pulling him back to the hotel. Second, that's why he was so upset at the airport at the end. He thought that hooking up with the cute concierge on the business trip was going to make him feel better, and it made him feel worse.

Agree.

Still disagree. It just goes against Michael's character. He would sabotage the opportunity. If he hit that, he would've moved on from Holly. The phone call to Wallace at Corporate afterwards is the clue that he didn't get any.
Oh well, I guess the writers may have intended it to be interpreted either way. And I suppose that we may learn the truth in the next episode or two -- although people will still be suspicious of whatever explanation is given, no matter how plainly it is stated within the show.

Oscar drunk was hilarious.
Oscar drunk was the first time that he actually seemed gay. :)
BTW, I thought Oscar was living with someone and in a committed relationship. So what's up with him even considering hooking up? Bad Oscar! Bad naughty nasty Oscar!!! :D

He totally hit that.
The problem is that he wanted affection, not sex. The concierge got the sex and then sent him on his way, while he was hopping for the cuddling and the breakfasting and so on.
In essence... he got laid, but he didn't score.
BTW, when he said "Oh my god, they have one of those?" (referring to the hotel having a concierge), the way he said it made me think that there was going to be a hilarious misunderstanding where Michael thought that "concierge" meant "call girl" or something like that. I guess I was sorta close. :)

OK. Michael hit that. Or more likely she hit him. It looked to me that she was the type that tended to sleep with hotel customers. Mostly because she was pretty aggressive after things sparked. Then after she was done with him she made him leave. Wouldn't be the first time Michael was attracted to a controlling female.
Oscar acts like a teenage girl when he's drunk.
What the heck was Ryan's motivation for hooking up with Kelly? Clearly he didn't want her back. It could be that he only wanted to be her part-time thang? My theory is that he was doing it all just to get Daryl mad enough to hit him. Then he would sue the company into submission. Now he is stuck with Kelly... Again.

Exactly.
I thought it was unambiguous. He got some. This line cinched it.
The concierge got drunk, or at least tipsy enough to do it with Michael, then had extreme regrets about it in the morning, hence, declining the invitation to breakfast and hastily kicking him out.
No doubt here.

What the heck was Ryan's motivation for hooking up with Kelly?
It's funny...it makes perfect sense to me but I'm not sure I can enunciate why.
He wanted the drama of an illicit relationship, something hot and passionate. He wanted conflict with Daryl. Just look at his last year, his rise and fall, he's an adrenaline junkie.
What he did NOT want was exactly what he got...back to being Kelly's bitch. :D
Michael absolutely hit it. Her brushing him aside when she was through with him just reminded him that he was looking for something more a one night stand, like he had with what's-her-name from HR. That was the set-up for the later scene when he loses it with his boss over the phone at the airport.

I don't think there is any evidence to suggest it was a hotel room. It could have been her apartment. However the decor (as best as I remember) did look rather hotelesque. If it were a hotel, it could have been a completely different hotel than the one Michael was staying in. But let's assume it was the same hotel, I am sure that she could have gotten a key for an empty room from the front desk.
