SPOILERS WITHIN!
Seriously, what the hell is up with Izzy and Denny? She can touch him? Can you have a psychotic break so profound that you can interact physically with your delusions?
Yes, you can.
And I am not liking this story one bit.

Seriously, this show has completely lost it. It used to be good, but it has fallen so fast.
Oh, if it hasn't jumped the shark yet, based on the previews for next week:
The interns perform their own appendectomy?

Bringing back Denny is just desperate on the writers part.

I stopped watching the show.... and yet I can't stop reading threads about it.

I'm about done. Please, let me be done. Why, why, why do the producers and writers not realize that the catalyst for throwing a really entertaining show down in the drain in the first place was the original Denny storyline? Nobody, but nobody, but nobody, cares about that character anymore except the people that write the show.
This is horrible.

Just my theory but the Denny making Izzy crazy story line is the writers preparing to write her off the show. Don't dis the writers, they will drop you down an elevator shaft in a minute.

I thought that was the LA Law writers?
Our ages are showing :)

This show has gotten ridiculous. Whats next a UFO crashes into the hospital and they have to treat the aliens? Or how about a guest appearance by the Harlem Globetrotters.

Or they could drop a helicopter on the most annoying resident.

H'mm, comments over at TV Guide Online pointed out another possibility that I hadn't considered -- that Izzy has a brain tumor or some other terminal syndrome, which is why Denny is telling, "I'm here for you." He's going to help her cross over.
Paging Melinda Gordon...

Maybe the tumor is making her see visions a la Eli Stone...

I thought that perhaps Izzy was dying, as well.
He's literally there FOR her.

We all know that Izzy really is an alien in human form :)

She's always had the most ridiculous storylines ... Alex, Denny, George, Alex, Denny ... what? Back to George?

Whet ere you seyin'? ;)
There was a brain tumor rumor earlier in the year, but Shonda and company denied it.
I thought that the show had found its way back this year, so I was doubly disappointed to see them trot Denny back out. Don't get me wrong--I love me some Jeffrey Dean Morgan--but that story is so played out.

I didn't even think about her having something terminal, I thought she was so in love with him that she was going to commit suicide to be with him.

I also thought about the suicide possibility. its such a frustrating storyline...everyone is so over it yet they won't put it to rest.
loved me some Calli again this week. good to see her with emotion.

Maybe he'll become the patron saint of killed-off TV actors the way Ted McGinley has become the patron saint of jumping the shark.

I knew I recognized him in the trailer.....just couldn't place it. I still can't believe that Jackie Earl Haley landed his part. That's so cool.

I still watch in hopes it can return where it was in season 1. I watch it while I clean the house or surfing the net. The stories have just gotten so far out there I can't take the show serious any more.

The writers are introducing too many new characters and spreading the storyline too thin.
I thought it was ridiculous to have a renowned heart transplant surgeon with Asperger's syndrome or whatever her problem was.

It took me a while to realize that she was the actress who played the president on 24.
Talk about a vastly different role.:p

I wouldn't be surprised if the writer's write Izzy off. Didn't she make a snarky comment in the off season about the writer's not giving her any good roles so she could nominate herself for an award?
I said I was going to cancel the SP but I kept it and watched them this past weekend. I was hoping with Kevin McKidd coming on that it was add something to the show, but it's still meh.
None of the character's are growing. I remember in one of the previews before S1 they showed the main cast one by one and the announcer said something like "One will grow confidence (George), one will grow a heart (Alex)", then went through stuff like that for Meredith, Christina, and Izzy. But all of the characters are just like they were when they came on as interns.
Scrubs has better character development than this show.
