I have had Tivo HD since January and I have had a "Lost Signal" more than 20 times. I call Comcast and they have no idea except to send someone out. They have been to my house 3 times and have no knowledge of cable cards etc. They usually resend the signal and after a few hours it will come back on. I just want to know if I need a splitter or a Mcard (instead of 2 S cards), or change to Fios. I want my HD.

I'm not sure why you'd want a splitter, since if anything that'd weaken the signal in each cable coming out of it.
I'd phone them and insist on talking to one of their tech people. When you get that person on the phone, tell them you want someone to come out and test the signal strength leading into your TiVo. (It's also more likely that person will know a little about cable cards.)
Going to Comcast's website and getting on "Live Chat" or whatever they call it might help too.
