Anyone besides me find all those blinding lights distracting and annoying? They honestly gave me a headache! What demographic were they trying to appeal to with all that flash and busy background all night?

Boy, I really thought Shania Twain looked pretty bad. She just didn't seem hot like she did when she wore that dominatrix outfit on the Grammys a few years back. She looked tired and haggard. Her separation from Mutt has been hard on her it seems......

Also, did she get some new puppies?

Also, I forgot how much I liked Kid Rock's mashup of Werewolves and Sweet Home Alabama.

Does anyone know a legit place to purchase just All Summer Long? I know there's an import single but that is going to be ~$10 or more. Rock and Roll Jesus looks like it is only available as a whole album on Amazon (and I presume iTunes).

Also...

Mac MacAnally - Musician of the Year!

Mac is an incredible singer/songwriter, with a great sense of humor. He is far better known for his work with Jimmy Buffett. He often plays as a member of the Coral Reefer Band (guitarist), and co-writes many of Jimmy's songs. But he is a fantastic musician in his own right, as evidenced by this award.

For the record, I Cannot ever see paying for a whole CD just to get one song.

Not sure if you consider this "legit" or not. But the local library by me has 9 CD copies of All Summer Long - you could just borrow it and accidentally leave a copy of the song on your computer before you return the CD.

I do this often for my kids - because their taste change so often.

Nah. I guess I am too honest for that. The closet I come without going past, is for TV series I don't have the right cable package for (we just have lifeline).

For instance, I have just finished S1 of BSG and await the S2.0 discs to arrive at my library. With these, rather than use my DVD player (which has some playback issues), I rip the eps to the PC, transfer to the TiVo, delete the eps from the PC, and then delete from the TiVo as I watch each episode.

The copying of a CD and never deleting it I guess I have issues with.

KR related, google is my friend. I guess you could call me slightly hypocritical. But paying $9.99 to get one song.....yuck.

Maybe you could just borrow it from the library, play it on repeat for two weeks straight - renew it - repeat - until you never want to hear the song again ;) Nothing illegal about that....
