My S2 remote met its demise a week aga during the GaTech-FSU game. Woot sometimes has them for 99 cents... which is about my budget for a remote since I can technically just use my S2 remote from my bedroom.

Anyplace to get a cheap replacement?

eBay?

Or you can just get a cheap universal remote that supports TiVo, like this one:

If a universal has all the same functionality as the peanut, I might just do that. Thanks

I was hoping the remote that came with my Panasonic would program the tivo, but haven't had any luck yet.

Do you have a cable box remote? If its UEI made remote, try vcr codes 0618 or 20618 to control the tivo.

You can also get the radio shack 15-2142, cost $10. Codes to use are VCR 0618 or SAT 1142. whatever commands are missing can be added via advanced codes:

http://www.hifi-remote.com/cgi-bin2/ueic.cgi?PVR_0618

You would have to add two zeroes to the FRONT of each code in that link since the 15-2142 only takes 5 digit advanced codes.
