So, I just updated to 9.4b and I can see the YouTube option, but it keeps telling me I need 9.4 or higher. I have rebooted. I am running on a good speed cable modem.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Sorry to hear about this issue. Can you please e-mail me (estephen@tivo.com) your TiVo Service Number (from System Information) along with the exact error message you see and the exact software version you're running per System Information?

Thanks Stephen - when I get home later today I will send you the exact message - thanks for the offer to help

Perhaps it's trying to convert the version number to a float for comparison purposes, and failing because of the 'b'.

Meanwhile, you're the first to tell us that there is a 9.4b.

I had just bought a new Tivo HD and it's the first service update I got

Grant wrote me to let me know it's working properly for him now.

I just set up a refurb'd TivoHD today and it downloaded 9.4b.

Why is YouTube so delayed/laggy with the remote response when it isn't on my computer?

Resist, do you have a marginal network connection (e.g., a wireless adapter with a low percentage listed for connection quality)? Your remote clicks go to the DVR via IR, and then are sent to the remote application running on our servers via your broadband connection, and then the screen updates are sent back to your unit via broadband as well. So if the broadband connection is shaky (or completely consumed by a big download taking place), you can sometimes see some lag.
