I'm thinking of replacing the internal drive of my S3 with a 1TB (WD10EVCS), and I have a few questions (having been out of the scene for a while):
1) What's the consensus about the proper swap size when expanding to 1TB internally?
2) Second, what exactly _does_ the WinMFS "supersize" option do? (I saw a few guesses that it reduced the amount of TiVo-reserved space.) Has anybody had any good or bad experiences with it over time?
I've seen conflicting statements about whether or not to exceed 127MB swap size when using such a large drive. A number of posts say to keep the swap at 127MB no matter what size the drive. A few others suggest a "rule of thumb" that would yield 500MB swap for a terabyte drive. Does using "-r 4" eliminate the need to expand the swap size?
