instacake

Hi, I have series 2 samsung sir4040 units many. I have tried the
instacake and it mostly works fine when the unit is put back
together. However i get reboots at random now and does not always
record a complete show and also artifacts on screen and slowness in the onscreen picture and playback... I have
tried many different hardrives and many 4 different units and
different size hardrives as singles and duals and different speeds 5400
and 7200rpm drives,,,, same thing on all that i upgrade,,,, but
when i put the original hdrv back in it works fine.... any ideas
please help i love the increased capacity. Anthony
