Extended Evening News on Broadcast Networks - 11/03

It appears that all the Evening Newscasts (ABC World News, CBS Evening News, and NBC Nightly News) are going to extended 1 hour version today. As of now (at least for Cincinnati Affiliates), TiVo is not showing the adjustments. Other online TV listing services are starting to update, so hopefully TiVo will to. If you either record the newscasts or what immediately follows them (often Wheel, Jeopardy, or various infotainment shows) you may need to manually adjust to record properly.

(Also, please also watch for any local election specials that may be happening, the local CBS affliate is doing one and is pushing back the hour version of CBS Evening News back an additional half hour. This is not showing on TiVo either.)

That is weird. It showed up on the guide provided by my cable company but not Tivo. I will adjust appropriately.

Strangely, KNTV, my NBC station, showed the show as two separate half hours. I was expecting to have to get it via the podcast (hoping that would have the whole thing)...

But they showed it as: 5:30 NBC nightly news, 6:00 local news. 6:30 NBC nightly news

I left the second recording in (on my S1 that's soon to be decommissioned).. I thought it was a guide mixup previously.


But my main question.. Is there anywhere to watch Jeopardy online legally? I've asked this previously and the answer was no then. But my local Jeopardy station (KGO) is preempting a lot of Jeopardy episodes lately, including tonight.. and never reairs them some other time.

I would sit through (a limited number of) commercials to watch Jeopardy online, for the eps I miss.

Unfortunately, no, it's still not available online, either by legal or not-so-legal means.
