View Full Version : Zippered Dtivo HD failed

My Zippered Dtivo's hard drive failed yesterday after 2 years of faithful service. I know I can get a new hard drive and start over, but is there any hope of getting the recordings and setup info (to do list, season pass, etc) off of the old failed drive. The drive was working on Sunday night but making a lot of unsettleing noises. It would not work yesterday and a reboot holds at the powering up screen. Any help or ideas will be appreciated?

If you have it- run spinrite. You will need to pull the drive and put it in a PC but it could stabilize the drive enough to get your data off of it.
