View Full Version : MISSING_PROGRAM_REKEY - Comcast

I know this has been discussed a lot in the past but many of the threads are a couple of years old and there are over 5,000 messages in the Comcast CC thread.

My TiVo HD seems to be working just fine but I notice that I have the MISSING_PROGRAM_REKEY message on both CableCards (as viewed via the Conditional Access menu). At one point they were both SUBSCRIBED - then one went to this new status, then the other - over a period of a few days.

Since everything is working fine I plan to do nothing. Just wondering if anyone can shed any new light on this.

Are you looking at this screen when tuned to a digital cable channel using the card in question? If not, that field doesn't have any meaning.

Very interesting question. Both tuners were set to digital cable channels when I just checked and one now said SUBSCRIBED and the other had the MISSING_PROGRAM_REKEY status. Then I tuned in 2 analog channels and they both said SUBSCRIBED. Went back to the 2 digital channels and both are now SUBSCRIBED.

Kind of strange but until something stops working I'm not going to worry about it. But thanks for your help, Robderigo - I appreciate it.

While I'm here - is there any way to verify which tuner is tuned to which channel other than through the diagnostics menu?
