Channel Guide Issue

So I am watching TV and look at the program guide that shows the shows and the channels. When I try to surf through multiple upper channels down to lower channels by pressing the channel button, it gets to channel 12 and stops. I then have to press one channel at a time and can only get to channel 6 before it stops and won't let me go any lower in the guide. My Series 3 never did this before and I have fresh batteries in the remote.

What is going on?

Here is something interesting. I went into the settings and discovered channels 1 thru 6 are the only channels shown (no other cable or HiDef channels) and are checked. I am totally confused now.

Oh and I checked our other Tivo, an old Series 2. Its channel guide shows all the channels correctly.

I fixed it! I ended up having to reboot the Tivo. Now it correctly shows the channel guide and allows me to navigate them.
