I was disappointed to read this on NewTeeVee this morning (excerpt follows, full article is here (http://newteevee.com/2008/10/22/tivo-adds-jaman-cinemanow/)):
Contrary to previous promises of HD, movies only come in standard definition and include Disney classics like Dumbo, major blockbuster films such as Pirates of the Caribbean, and independent favorites including Supersize Me.
According to Crave (http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-10073530-1.html), HD remains on the horizon, which is a hopeful sign.
We broke down and bought a refurbished Apple TV last week to complement our S3. Amazon VOD is OK, but the ability to watch HD rentals minutes after actually renting them makes Apple TV a winner in this department for now.
