Hello

I have partitioned my hard drive to multi boot different systems. My question is how do i copy my mfs tools or instat cake to the partition and boot from it? I see in the mfs tools on how to make a boot disk on a floppy but i want to do it on a disk partition?

thanks

Install a version of Linux on the partition. After Linux is working then it is just a mater of copying the mfstools files over.

It may be easier to use WinMfs from windows see MFSLive.org (http://mfslive.org)Depending on what you want to do.

Does this help?:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-general-1/boot-iso-image-from-hard-disk-294744/

I have done that to boot a Linux ISO (knoppix) from my Ubuntu system drive. grub is my boot manager.

I should try it on my tivo playing with PC, which uses a FAT drive.
