A somewhat weaker show than last week, the humor was more pedestrian. For instance, the nun cursing like a sailor upon being awakened from death by Ned (albeit, that was a clue to what was really going on).

Still, an enjoyable show, and...

Olive is out of the convent! Yea!! :)

I did find it interesting that Chuck is now starting to worry about the status of her immortal soul since she is "cheating death." That they dressed her in a deathly jet-black nun's habit (in contrast to the other nuns bright green ones) was an interesting touch to accompany her mood.

Did Olive swear? I heard her say "It's a ****** convent". My ears hears ***king.

Sorry I didn't DVR it, I watched it in HD, and have no HD-DVR.

There was a lot of swearing, but it was all "belled" out. But between lip-reading and the beginnings and/or ends of words slipping in around the bells, it was never terribly unclear what was being said.

I thought it sounded like that too and replayed it for my husband, but we couldn't figure out what she said. Obviously not that...

If I'm remembering the right part I think she said fungus, you know, because of the mushrooms.

Emerson's reaction to seeing Olive was great!

And who could not love Father Dowling, Father Mulcahey, and Sister Christian?

Glad to see Olive back "home" I think her being away has really ruined the chemistry.

There were no scene's of young Ned in this one either (I think) - just an observation.

"Heavy petting power ballad" -- hee hee hee!

But now I'm thoroughly confused about Lily and Vivian's relationship to Chuck's father. It sounded like they were step-siblings, which means Vivian could be engaged to Chuck's father. Vivian still doesn't know that (1) Lily slept with Chuck's father and (2) Lily is Chuck's mother. Who does she think Chuck's mother is?

I enjoyed the episode. Is Piggsley (or is it Pigsby) (?) going to be a regular cast member now? I wonder how Digby will take that news.

Finally watched it. I thought it was a very good episode (enjoyed it better than last week's).

But if she adopts Pigsby, she'll be harboring a killer!

I love Pigby!

I cracked-up when Chuck was waving from atop the tower after Olive was knocked out the window and caught in the hay wagon. There was Pigby standing right beside chuck (his waving hoof just out of the shot). :)

I thought the Hitchcock references were a little heavy, and that the convoluted plot fit into that theme. We don't usually need as long a "this is what happened" wrap-up like that.

It was interesting to see the nun revived bring up a deep question: what does Ned's power tell us about the afterlife? Once can come up with answers that preserve any particular belief you have, but it's a reach to conclude anything other than that there isn't one. This is a question way too controversial and deep to get addressed on this show (they usually avoid anything like that) so I was surprised that they let the nun bring it up even if only briefly and glancingly.

I thought the Father Dowling et al. thing was weak, and doubly so when the nun called him on it.

Overall though I really enjoyed the episode, though mostly for the character moments and the dialogue more than for the plot.

They told Chuck they were his step siblings, but I don't think they actually were. I think they were just his ex-fiancee and her sister. I think Vivian thinks Chuck's mother is someone with whom the fiance had an affair (which is true).
