Most interesting twist. Most interesting indeed.
On the other hand, it seems that Chuck and Sarah just can't be together. If that's the case, I wonder if she might be interested in me? :p :D

I can't believe this show is not only watchable, but good. When I saw the previews for it last year I thought stupidest premise of all time. Guy opens and email and becomes a secret agent. Wow. i guess with interesting writing and characters shows don't need a premise.

When I first heard about it, I remember being mad that they were ripping off Jake 2.0.
Such a awesome show. Of course we're not even 20 episodes in yet are we? Hope they can continue this.

Really solid cast!! The Buy More nerds are the best. They need more screen time.
When they had the whole "we can never be together" thing at the end I thought awwwww man that sucks...I like seeing them together. After a while though, I realized it'll prolong and deepen the sexual tension between them. Annnnnnnd, there's nothing like good long tease...;)

I almost said something about that above but didn't want to drop that spoiler in there too quickly.
On the subject of how good this show is, I just hope that NBC is patient with the ratings and doesn't drop the show in search of something else. It really is a great show and deserves a chance to get many more episodes aired. To be fair, if it was on FOX we'd long since have been typing in the BiH's, but that doesn't mean that NBC will really stick with the show either.
If they don't, then I have some suggestions for the types of shows I'd like to see Sarah in :p :D

The buy more crew make the show for me. I wish they would get more screen time since they are the favorite part of the show. I really like the Casey character he needs more screen time. The Chuck/Sarah thing is starting to wear thin with me already.

The scene where Chuck said Sarah would be off in Paraguay quelling a revolution with a fork was kinda taken from Gross Pointe Blank when Martin was talking to his therapist about his high school reunion and wanted to know what he would tell his old schoolmates, "I killed the president of Paraguay with a fork."
Solid episode.
So I take it that the unnamed Fulcrum agent at the beginning that stole the information was Bryce. So is Bryce Fulcrum or did the CIA just assume it was a Fulcrum agent?

The Chuck/Sarah thing is wearing thin with me too. But oddly enough, Chuck doesn't wear thin with me and I can never ever get enough Sarah.
I thought Scrubs and Burn Notice showed people can sleep together and still have romantic tension...

I like the guest appearance of Strahan and him playing Madden as the Giants.
I love how they use the cage for their matches.
Chuck's reaction to Casey requesting the background check was funny. Chuck is always flip flopping on this spy stuff.
Let's hope Microsoft didn't give Chuck the update or else he will be crashing until the update to the update comes out.
Sarah is hot cause she can kick some serious ass.
From the previews:
Nicole Richey? Not only that but it looks like her and Sarah get into a fight

I have to note that I love that Captain Awesome's lines are closed-captioned with the name "Captain:". I don't know if that's a production team decision or a captioner decision but it's just so right.

Let me just say add to the chorus, this is a good show.
Interesting that Bryce says he is "protecting" Chuck. I think Chuck would prefer not to have the Intercept in his head. Bryce would seem to have more plans for Chuck.
Loved Casey's reaction to Anna! Then Chuck just whispering "No" to him was priceless.
Intercept 2.0? That answers the issue of will Chuck's information become outdated.
Is Bryce supposed to be "dead"? Did Elle and Devon ever meet him when he was "alive?" It looks like Elle never saw his face this episode, but Devon talked directly to him.

Ellie knows who Bryce is. So does Morgan. Apparently Devon knows about him but probably hasn't met him.
Last season there was an episode where Morgan sees Bryce but Bryce tells him he isn't who he thinks he is, then since Morgan thinks Bryce is dead believes him. Then goes on to tell Bryce how the guy he looks like is a ******bag for screwing up Chuck's life.

Yes, but there's an argument that says that since there's no way to remove the Intercept from his head, destroying the new Intersect and keeping Chuck up to date with new intel keeps him useful and alive.
Bryce may be Fulcrum, or he may be playing both sides trying to keep himself and Chuck alive. A fulcrum is the balance point of an equal-effort lever. Maybe this is Bryce's way of keeping the balance of power, by putting the intel in the hands of someone he knows will do the right things with it.
Is Bryce supposed to be "dead"? Did Elle and Devon ever meet him when he was "alive?" It looks like Elle never saw his face this episode, but Devon talked directly to him.
Elle must have met him while he was Chuck's friend, though I don't recall that they ever explicitly mentioned that. Morgan knows him. I don't think Devon/Captain ever did.

Just echoing most of what's been posted here. For me, this show has gone from...
1-Occasionally watching last year
2-TiVo'ing regularly toward the end of the first season and watching whenever
3-TiVo'ing all episodes that were run over the summer and watching fairly soon
4-TiVo'ing regularly this season and watching ASAP
Outstanding balance of comedy, spy stuff, cand liffhangers at the end of each show....and, of course, there's the Sarah hotness...

The Chuck/Sarah relationship is a necessary part of the show, but it is wearing a little bit thin for me as well. But that's probably just because the first three eps this season have focused on it so heavily. I'm hoping that the "talk" will calm that down a bit.
But what I'm really hoping is that they get back to some actual spy stuff. Every episode this season has been about some component of the new Intersect.
That said, we caught up last night with "Seduction" and then watched this episode almost live. I'm still floored as to how real the Buy More is--it makes me feel like I'm working at Best Buy all over again...

I thought the same thing, but then felt it would be more interesting to see Morgan deal with it himself. The Anna scene was kinda hot and funny with Casy making his phone call. But I thought it was a little over the top. I would have liked to see Morgan do something and stand up to them himself. I know he did with the drink, but I would have liked to see the follow through on his part.

I own the movie and completely missed the reference to GPB. A great reference and probably one of the many reasons I love this show. Defintely better than Hereos. They need more scenes with Jayne... I mean Casey. Heck, the whole cast is great! More Sarah than Casey though.
Strahan did a great job for someone who isn't an actor.. Good to see he has a great sense of humor.

How often have they used Captain Awesome's first name? I can only recall one episode where he is clearly called "Devon." Even IMDB lists his character as "Captain Awesome." How is a captioner going to know the character's name when it isn't used in the dialog?

How is a captioner going to know the character's name when it isn't used in the dialog?
Sometimes captioners get scripts from the production company (although the script may very well be identifying him as "Captain Awesome" as well!).
At the captioning company I worked for, we made a "treatment" form for each series we captioned, which contained various things-you-need-to-know about the show, including a list of names of all the regular characters. So it might say something to the effect of...
CHUCK BARTOWSKI
ELLIE BARTOWSKI
SARAH WALKER
JOHN CASEY
MORGAN GRIMES
DEVON (CAPTAIN AWESOME) ( I.D. as Captain: )
(...and so on...)
This was not only important if a different person was captioning each episode from week to week, but because even if the same person was captioning every episode, they would have trouble remembering what they did last week because of all the other episodes of different series they'd captioned in the interim. :D

The only time they call him Devon is when Ellie talks to him, I think this might be the first or second time Chuck has called him Devon.

As long as it comes with Sarah in a form fitting, cleavage showing dress. I don't have a problem with it. (Bonus points for Sarah performing a sexy dance.) :D

I loved this episode and can only hope the show lasts a few more seasons. Chuck in the white jacket with the red rose was adorable.
I did enjoy the 'talk' that Captain Awesome had with Bryce. It was so big brotherish. I also caught the GFP nod and wondered for a moment if it was supposed to be Chuck quoting a movie, like we in real life often do.
Casey breaking up the Jocks was expected, so I liked how they didn't have him do it. I think Morgan standing up for himself in an amusing nerdy way would have been fun, but Anna just kicked butt!
Ah, Chuck and Sarah. There is nothing more to say. It does seem like now that they have had the 'break up' they can go forward to some other plotlines.
Though there were quite a few good lines, I think my favorite was "I've been living in my lamboghini, do you know how little leg room there is here?!!"

This is turning into my favorite show (at least until Lost comes back). The acting is so good you actually can FEEL the sexual tension between Chuck and Sarah. It's actually palatable. Great speech Chuck made to Sarah about how they can't be together. But you know that both want it, and know they can't. That's what's so perfect about the whole thing. I personally think they have the right balance of Buy More and Spy stuff. I love how Chuck is beginning to feel a bit more comfortable with being a spy, yet still makes mistakes that Casey makes sure he understands. Would love to see Anna be recruited, that would make for some interesting foreplay between Chuck, Anna and Morgan.
I hope the ratings pick up, but I'm already trying to figure out what to send NBC to "bring" the show back after they cancel it. Any ideas?

Yes. HE-LARIOUS! He walks up just so non-chalantly after shooting the bad chick with the bag over his shoulders. Like, Look at Mr. Casey coming to save the day. He can easily take out three bad guys single-handedly to get back government money and still make it in time to save the day. Go Casey!

I wouldn't want them to recruit Anna. I like them using Anna's combat prowess for comedy. If she wails on somone on a mission, it might be cool, but I don't think it would be funny. In the context of the BuyMore, she can wail on someone with an inappropriate amount of force and it's funny. On a mission, it wouldn't be inappropriate.
(And I also loved "Sweep the leg.")

I did as well, but it did leave me a little confused. Since Captain Awesome was essentially describing/defending the Chuck and Sarah "cover" (aka "fake") relationship, I'm surprised that Bryce didn't just dismiss it since he could argue (to himself) that Captain Awesome didn't really know what he was talking about.
On the other hand, one could argue that the "look" Sarah has in her eyes for Chuck was something that could not be faked, even for a cover relationship, so that is why Bryce took it to heart. ;)
(Don't mind me while I have a conversation with myself about it..LOL).
At any rate, "Chuck" rules! The Buy More staff stuff is just plain hilarious.

It's a shame the show is on one of the most competitive nights on TV. "Dancing With the Stars," The CBS comedies, Monday Night Football, "Chuck"...I've got four tuners working in overdrive. It was worse last season when "House" was on Mondays, too.
