Well, I liked it a lot better than the first two. Good writing in how Edy's husband handled (and I mean handled) Lynette. Bree's burn remark to Danielle (what happens next year when he passes you?) was priceless. But I'm still not getting Mike and the new guy bonding.

I think they're moving toward a Mike/Susan reconciliation (most likely during May sweeps). Their split made absolutely no sense to begin with, and she appears to have absolutely little chemistry with what's-his-face. The foreshadowing when Gaby and Susan talked ("MJ's daddy isn't there any more", etc.) was fairly telling in this regard, I thought.

I thought it made sense. Susan couldn't get past the thought that Mike was responsible for the accident because he fixed the brakes rather than having an expert fix them. I could actually see something like this happening in real life.

I canceled my SP (on my HD TiVo) after watching last night's episode. I just can't get into it anymore. And I find Dave just creepy - not interesting, just creepy. I used to care about how story lines turn out, and I just don't anymore. Besides, between football, First Blood, and Masterpiece, there's already too much on Sunday to juggle. It's been relegated to my SD TiVo. If I run out of other things to watch, I'll get caught up.

I agree, and I bet I know how they are getting there:

The new guy's wife and child was killed by Susan in the accident and he's out to get her now. Mike will be the one to save her from him and bam! Love again.

I never thought of that one! That's a good one! So far, I'm LOVING this season, what do you think??I just hope Edie's new hubby doesn't do Toby in, i would be SO po'd! I love that cat! He's purty! :DI agree, and I bet I know how they are getting there:

I understand the thinking, but I just don't see how that is remotely realistic, even for this show, and I'll be disappointed if they go there.

If he were the husband, Susan had to have met him after the accident, even if they had been divorced. Perhaps he's a brother of the woman or something, but it is still a stretch.

Hi ALL,

I couldn't get over what Lynette did to one of her kids! When she put the guitar and doll on the garage floor so Tom would run over it there was very little hesitation to blame it on one of her kids, who I believe was only 8 years old!!! Tom is going to yell at the kid and Lynette does nothing to stop him. What a great Mom!!!

By the way, who is the 8 year old girl. I don't remember where she came from. It can't be Tom's daughter as she would be older and was sent away to a boarding school, I believe.

They had a daughter of their own. She was pretty much still a baby last season.

The baby was roughly 2.5- 3 years old last season.

Then they flash forwarded 5 years, making the baby (Penny is her name) 7.5- 8 years old. Which is who that random 8 year old girl is... :)

Yep. Said the same thing to my wife - is Lynnette the worst mother in the world, or what?

Why weren't Susan, Gabrielle or Lynnette at Bree's party, but Edie and Mrs. Landingham were?

I have to admit I thought it was pretty funny when Susan pushed down Gabriel's daughter and their argument (including the "apologize to the neighbor for the crater in their lawn" remark) :D
