Widescreen and tivo

any ways to get tivo to record in widescreen???

Ever since I've upgraded my 36" crt to a 42" plasma, the tivo picture is stretched and everyone's put on a couple of stone :)

TiVo records the signal it is sent - if it is fed a 16:9 signal then on playback it will send the 16:9 flag to set the TV to the right mode. What is the source that Tivo is using, is it set to 16:9 output?
