noise when screen is white

On my Tivo I have noticed that on TNT I get alot of noise when there is alot of white on the screen. I checked the wires they are all snug. I have tried looking at other white screens. Nothing happen guess they are not white enough. any Ideas. we think its the tivo since it doesn't do it in the wifes tivo on the same show/

Are both TiVos going into the same TV via the same kind of connection? Is it a CRT (tube) TV or a flat panel of some type? Are the speakers in the TV or external?

its a older 27 inch tv speakers are outside. the tivos are wired into a ab switch. Guess it could be that.
