I moved to Corona a few months ago where Charter services. I was in La Habra with Time Warner in which I never had any problems with the cable cards. Here in Corona I've had problems from the installation taking 4 attempts from Charter technicians coming out to still having problems accessing the premium channels. After reading up I can verify that my cards have both been installed and paired and validated correctly.
What happens is once in a while I'll tune into a premium channel ie:HBO or Cinemax and the channel just doesn't come in at all. What I do is pull out both cards and wait a few seconds and I put them back in. I then wait about a minute and try again to tune in and the channel will come in 9 times out of 10. This happens mostly in the Tivo HD. The Series 3 happens less often. When this started happening in the beginning I called Charter and they would basically try and resend a signal and that would work but after a while it just gets tiring calling Charter everytime I need a hit. Has anyone in this area experienced the same issues with Charter trying to access premium channels? Have you been able to figure out the problem? Thanks.
