Can my TivoHD play MP3's without streaming

I would like to use my TivoHD as a stand-alone MP3 player. I don't want to stream from my PC, after all it holds and plays several different formats of video, so audio should be a snap. I can't figure out how to do it though, any help would be appreciated.

You have to mux it with a null video stream. Otherwise, no, audio only cannot be transferred, just streamed.
