I had an issue on my series 3 that is probably not new, but something I haven't encountered. I had three shows (Heroes, Life, and The Office) that my season passes from prior years were not showing anything in the To Do list. It was easily fixed by entering the modify season pass settings, not making any changes, and then exiting. The fall premieres then showed in my To Do list.

All three shows are on NBC and so far none of the other season passes are doing the same thing. Maybe NBC changed something but heads up.

Same problem here. Dancing with the Stars, Extreme Home Makeover and a bunch of other shows premiering in the next week or so were NOT showing on the To-Do list, despite having season passes. Still not sure why, and it's making me a little paranoid about other season-premiere shows that won't record despite having the season passes set.

It would be interesting to try to go set manually shows that are supposed to be in the season pass. You should see a message similar to this wording: "record this episode too?" If such a message doesn't appear perhaps you should delete the season pass and begin it anew. Make sure episodes in the newly created season pass appear in the "To Do" list. Or set a manual recording with repeats (you can even specify how many episodes to record so you and view and delete before your drive fills up).

There goes my NBC theory. I don't think I have any additional shows premiering anytime soon (Lost, 24), but I will check. It's not all the season passes though as my season pass for Supernatural did not have a problem.

This happened on my TiVoHD a few weeks ago, the To Do list was completely empty, including Manual Recordings I had set up. A reboot didn't help. Going into the SP list didn't help either. But once I switched the priority of the first two SP's, it seemed to kick the scheduler and everything showed up again.

Today I was checking my original Series 3 and found that it didn't have anything in the To Do list after Wednesday. Same SP tweak kicked it and everything is back.

I thought the first time was a fluke, but now that it's happened on both of them I'm starting to get worried. The TiVoHD didn't even record suggestions during the time nothing was in the To Do list.

This seems to be a pretty bad bug.

I've had similar problems in the past, when the TiVo seems to recognize new episodes as reruns, when I have the TiVo set to "record new episodes only."

Most recently this happened with "The Shield" at the beginning of the month. Not sure how I fixed it, but I dis play with the Season Pass.

On a separate note, often my TiVo lists rerun episodes in my ToDo list, when I have the TiVo set to record new episodes only. These "rerun" episodes generally refer back to the airing of the first episode of the series. For the most part, this problem fixes itself by the air date (i.e., removes rerun from ToDo list) . . . and the info screen actually refers to the episode being broadcast. This problem just seems like it was fixed when Trinity's data was updated.

I am not sure whether the two problems are related, especially when you can fix such by entering the season pass settings. The next time I experience the problem (as you explained), I will wait until the day before the episode airs before I fix such manually.

Same problem here with the empty ToDo list. I noticed that MadTV wasn't recording last night, so I checked the ToDo list and found that it was empty. I caught it just before it missed recording SNL. I experimented around and found that if I went through all my season passes and clicked "Record Season Pass with these options" for each one, then the ToDo list filled up.

Another weird thing I noticed was that I couldn't delete a season pass. MadTV is in HD this year, so I wanted to delete the SP for the standard channel and add one for the HD channel. I actually had to reboot the TiVo before it would delete successfully. I don't know if it's related to the other issue though.

24 Premeirs November 23rd. Lost comes back in January.

If the ToDo list is entirely empty, then this (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=405090) thread is discussing this.

It may be a related issue, but my To Do list is not empty, it's only the shows I mentioned which had a problem. I also noticed the The Simpsons was Ok for next weekend.
