I really like the Component Cables that came with my Tivo HD. I'd like to buy some L/R audio cables from the same manufacturer. Tivo doesn't sell these. Does anyone know a company I might look at to get similar quality/design?

any of the large box stores should have what you want

you can try http://www.monoprice.com/home/index.asp
(I have never bought from them, but I see them recommended frequently).

I had some Monster Video 3 Component cables and I hate them. They are ridiculously difficult to pull off once you've stuck them on. Plus they seem overpriced.
Some cables seem super cheap and I dislike them. The Tivo cables are just right: don't seem cheap, perform good, and can be pulled off without hassle (unlike the Monster Cables).

I would stick with monoprice just as jjberger2134 said. The markup for cables at the Big Box stores is ridiculous. For instance, a 6 ft HDMI cable will cost you close to 80 dollars at the Big Box stores versus 10 bucks at monoprice

Is Monoprice the place that advertises with the slogan 'The electrons don't care how much you paid for your cables'?

I've bought HDMI cables from monoprice. Absolutely no regrets. Good quality, fast delivery, and cheap.

You do realize the only difference between the stereo cables and component cables are the colors on the tips, right?

Mostly.
To be proper video cables, they have to be 75 ohm (basically a sort of RG59 or RG6, they use a thicker dielectric and a braided ground screen).
Cheaper cables use just a plain hookup coax, with a plain plastic insulated wire with the ground screen wrapped around it, and use the same cable for audio as video.
I doubt any good CE manufacturer would include the cheap, technically non-compliant cable.

Check your local Home Depot. I got cables there for about half of what they were at Best Buy.

If you are looking for high end component cables at a great price I have had really good experiences with http://www.bluejeanscable.com/
They make their own cables with the exception of the HDMI stuff.
All custom made cables, quick delivery and good prices. Everyone that sees the cables I use always asks where I got them!

I would also highly recommend monoprice.com I've had two orders with them and both times it was smooth and the products are great. When I needed to run 25' worth of various cables to my projector (2 HDMI, 2 Component, VGA and others) I figured decent cable for all those runs was going to break the bank! I think I got all of that and a remote controlled component video switcher for somewhere in the $100 neighborhood. And the cables are great quality. I can't emphasize enough just how good of a deal most of the monoprice stuff is. It REALLY underscores what a total scam Monster and similar products are.

I ordered a few cables recently from monoprice and couldn't be more pleased. Low prices and good quality. Much cheaper than any local brick-and-mortar store I've found.
