As far as I know it's impossible for the S3 to record on the wrong channel which is why I was extremely confused when I went to watch my Season Pass recording of MythBusters from Wednesday on Discovery Channel HD last night only to find that the recording was that of History Channel HD (not Mythbusters). The program info said DSC-HD, but it was obviously HC-HD. DSC-HD and HC-HD aren't even on the same QAM frequency which makes this even stranger.
After I noticed this I changed to DSC-HD and it was DSC-HD. I suppose Comcast might have mixed the channels up temporarily, but I find it unlikely since they haven't made any line-up changes recently (that I'm aware of).
Another TiVo recording the regular DSC (not HD) recorded Mythbusters correctly.
Has anyone with a S3/HD/XL (ugh too many S3 models) ever had a Season Pass record on the wrong channel?
