My Tivo Series 3 (bought back in Oct 06) within the last 3 weeks started to pixelate (loss of sound for about 1 second, while the picture recomposes itself) on about 4 channels (HD versions of my broadcast channels, Fox, NBC and CBS mostly, sometimes on ABC) about 4 or 5 times a minute.

My signal levels on these channels is about 84 to 87 between all the channels, so I have no idea why they seem to mess up.

I have a cable box rented from the cable co on the same splitter and it doesn't experience these problems, so I'm at a loss.

Could it be the hard drive?

I want to say no cause I look at other HD channels and SD channels and they seem ok.

Any thoughts?

Ok, as of 9/21, NOTHING about my setup has changed, but the periodic freezing / pixelazation has decresed to maybe once or twice a minute.

Signal levels are the same.... so confused.

Oh yea, just to add, my area doesnt use cablecard marrying, so I popped my cablecard into my tv, took the cable out of the back of the tivo...put it into the tv coax input... and the tv itself has NO problems with the signal...zero freezing on the effected channels.
