Hi all. I'm having a problem with tivoweb this week. I also use tivoweb+ but no problems there; just within tivoweb, which I mainly use for the folders in conjunction with SortNP. The error message is below. I've tried everything I can. I've restarted tivoweb, TiVo and reinstalled the software. Deleted all folders within SortNP but to avail. I'm stuck. Any ideas? Thanks.

I should have said the error is only related to 'Folders'. I'm getting a new message today instead of the one I posted yesterday. I e-mailed the author, LJ, but he wasn't able to help. Anyone have an ideas why I can't get 'Folders' to run?

Never really looked at that code, but in the second case it can't find the global variable "lang" - could that be created in one of LJ's modules which you don't have installed? I don't think it's a standard TW1 variable.

Hi there. I've given up for now. Been working on it since 7am and still no luck. It's a real shame as I use folders allot. I completely uninstalled tivoweb again and reinstalled. I then installed the update version of Folders from LJ's page but I still get error messages, which interestingly seem to change each time.

You often need t install LJ's utilities package as well as the module in question.

Hi. I think I may have done that. I installed a package LJ called his daily modules. Is that what you're referring to?

Is this what you installed if not doing so should sort it out I hope

Hi there Richard. I do have the file you attached installed but I deleted it and replaced it with yours, however I still get this message - even after a reboot. I feel like chucking my TiVo out the window today!

sorry it didn't help. having just read the thread on SortNP
http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?p=6620955&highlight=sortnp#post6620955

I notice that Mikerr indicates some issue with it and folders within TivoWeb.
He may catch sight of this thread and give his opinion OR a friendly PM to him may get you an answer.
