Mythbusters doesn't seem to be recording new episodes

I'm not having this problem and my SP is set to new eispodes only.

An ep a couple of weeks ago may not have recorded because they had run the guide data for it a couple of weeks earlier during the olympics but otherwise I've caught the new shows on my SP.

Judging by your sig, I'd guess this was the generic DirecTV problem where they trashed tons of season passes by changing the series ID's.

I have D* and I didn't have any problem with it other than the viral hour episode. Since then they've all recorded fine.

Hmmm odd, my HR20 didn't pick up Wednesday's episode at all. Looks like next weeks will be a repeat.

Since then they've all recorded fine.The recent DTiVo recording problems seem to be linked almost exclusively to DTiVos that for some reason (most often hacking) didn't have the latest software (6.4) as of two or three weeks ago.

Since the OP's sig states his SD-DVR40 is unmodified, it should have had the 6.4 software, so that isn't likely to be his problem.
