really getting into this show, one of my new favorites :)

not sure whether *spoilers* in the title is the right way but...

the end scene was 'interesting'. i knew when Clay didn't take the $ that there had to be a bigger reason other than 'civic duty'. He really played that guy like a fiddle and the rapist got his.

Ron Perlman is great in this imo. But something has to give to elevate Jax to the leadership role ala Tony Soprano, no?

Last episode I was questioning if I wanted to keep the season pass, this episode has changed that, we'll keep it for awhile. I enjoyed it and they showed enough that plays into the next episode that I'm interested now.

Good to see Dutch. Is he going to come looking for the Doctor lady?

Did the mail lady know what was in the bag? LOL

I'm predicting Clay goes to prison somewhere down the line and Jax has to come to terms with how 'Might mixed with Right' means killing people sometimes.

I really like this show, too, but I have one nagging question.

Who or what is Sam Crow?

I enjoyed this episode as well. Should be more interesting with the FBI in town now.

I plan on keeping it on season pass and will watch it when the wife goes to sleep.

This program is growing on me...unlike the clown's attachments. ;)

Once the knife came out, I knew the clown was going to lose his junk one way or another.

I'm enjoying this show. It's the Sopranos on two wheels! :)

I like the interaction between the characters and the "dark" feel of the whole thing.

Plus the comic relief of Prospect.

For me it's a keeper - for the time being at least.

I am loving this show! It is cast so well too! Katey Sagel is great. Ron Perlman is great. Even the kid from Quintuplets is great as the new guy on the tiny motor cycle.

I've been watching, and enjoying the show. However, I was feeling like it was incredibly improbable that all these crimes were being comitted without law enforcement being involved.

I caught an episode of "Gangland" last night and it was focused on the Mongol motorcycle club. It was enlightening to say the least, and puts SoA into some perspective for me.

I was disapointed that there was no carry-over from last week's episode into this week. The "road rage" incident that ended in the convience store could (should?) have been a bigger plot point.

It took a couple of episodes but I really like this show now.

Clay and Jax are going to have a showdown. I just hope it's not this season. Let the tension build slowly.

Arrrg, its magazines.... not clips. (Wondering if anyone here knows what I am talking about.) :D

Wrong or not, the usage of the term clips for magazines is common enough that eventually it will become "correct", even if it isn't now.

At this point complaining about it has about the same impact as complaining about grammar or spelling. ( such as "its" vs "it's" as a contraction for "it is").

Better hope we aren't together while being attacked. You ask for a clip and I'll throw you a clip. You'd better have a garand to use it. ;)

I missed the pilot, but have seen episodes 2 & 3, and will continue watching. I think it's easy to get involved with the characters, and a good view into a lifestyle on the fringes that upon reflection I have never known anything about. Comparisons to the Soprano's are easy, but probably too easy.

On a TiVo related matter, though, I watch the shows by recording FX-HD. When I 3X zip through the commercials, very consistently, the screen turns black near the end of the commercial run, and when I pop out of it with the 4th FF, I'm into the show already and must back up. It doesn't always seem to happen at 1X or 2X FF, but haven't played with it much. But that's two separate eps of 1 show and I haven't seen it elsewhere. Are they somehow tampering with our ability to skip the commercials?

Does the "auto-correct" work the same when coming out of FF by using the 4th FF versus hitting the "Play" button? I've always come out of FF (1, 2 or 3) by hitting play and it auto corrects just right, as long as I hit it when I should.

It certainly backs up a bit, and I presume the backup is the same as hitting play, but I have no way of knowing.

But the "fade to black" commercials in Sons of Anarchy as a signal for the 4th FF (or Play) don't leave me anywhere near the end of the commercial block. Is no one else noticing this, or is there no critical mass yet of Anarchy viewers?
