My Toshiba SD-H400's power supply died last night and I cannot for the life of me find a retailer that is offering a DVR with a free on screen guide.
Did Tivo realize the Basic service was enough for 90% of the people and discontinue its use because these devices are absolutely awesome and all I can find is dead website after dead website saying all these units are not available.
I did my first google search last night and the Toshiba RS-TX players came up. I must admit after reading over that I was like "Wow this has everything I want, where can I get one?!?!?" This item is no longer available WTF?!?!?!
So please help me...I can't watch live TV....I have 2 small children and last night was the first time in 4 years I could not rewind or pause and I think I might have to kill some bunnies if I can't get this resolved.
Time Warner wants $8 more a month for the Digital Tier then another $8 a month for their DVR, Tivo wants $12.95/month, and I refuse to pay that.
