Did anyone here record SMALLVILLE last night off a digital station's OverTheAir broadcast? (Believe it was 7.19 "Quest".)

Last week my non-TiVo DVR had a copy-protection flag at the start of the recording. I'd set it to start a little early, so it got the last minute or two of the preceeding show. When I split the recording to trim off the first bit, the anti-copy flag stayed with the first bit, and the SMALLVILLE recording was fine.

This week the same thing happened, but when I split the recording, the anti-copy flag stayed with the SMALLVILLE side of the split. (The opening bit was now flag-free.)

Has anyone else out there recorded the show off an OTA digital broadcast and run into the same thing?

If anything, you'd expect maybe a cable company might cause something like this, but an OTA broadcast?

Would appreciate any input.

Thanks.

I don't have an OTA CW, so can't answer the question.

But, I'd call your local station and ask if they had the copy protection flag set.
