Here is the thread for last night's episode.

If it weren't on at 10pm, I'd have more to say than this.

It was an alright episode. When Michael found out the second hitman was going ram the car with the truck and he couldn't get in touch with Fionna because of the cellphone jammer, I kind of rolled my eyes. Also, did the son really need three hitman for his step-mom? Seriously, how much was the father worth?

Btw, was the son the older son from Home Improvement? Kinda looked like him.

Pretty annoyed the season finales next week. It feels like it just started!

I'm about to start it as soon as the iPhone update begins... I can't believe it took this long for someone to start replying to the initial thread. Did I break some rule about starting a thread but not talking about it?

Yes, that was the oldest son from Home Improvement. Zachary Ty Bryan. He was in the credits, but dropped his middle name.

My wife & I really like this show. Yeah, it's cheesy sometimes, but what Miami shows aren't? Miami Vice, CSI Miami, Burn Notice. Any others?

I don't know about anyone else, but I TiVo the show so am not ready to talk about it immediately:D

I loved the show last season, but this season hasn't been so great as far as I'm concerned. There have been some fun moments, but no really great shows. I'm actually glad the finale is next week. I'm tired of playing chase the mystery woman. Hopefully they will come back next season with better shows.

I've really liked this season. Add me to the list of those that are disappointed that it's almost over. That's one thing that I hate about summer series. Such short seasons. Sure would be nice if they would make it a two part season. The first half during the summer, the second half during the winter break during the holidays. Or start the season closer to the end of the traditional Fall schedule.

The first therapy session with Mom was pretty funny. Actually both sessions were good.

It was good to not see so much focus on his burn notice.

I was starting to wonder if the night club was still in business.

I'm not sure why they're calling next ep the "Season Finale," because there are several episodes left that will air in the winter...

Wiki doesn't list any eps past next week's although TV.com and Epguides.com list another five (without air dates).

BTW, I loved Sam's comment "He's not a Campbell."

Yeah, it took me a second to get what he was talking about. All I could think of was Bruce.

Pretty good episode. I didn't get having more than one hit out either. That slowed it down for me.

I don't understand the need for people to have the 'burn notice' mystery solved. I enjoy the trip because once we reach the destination, then what? People will most likely complain that the new underlying arc is weak/sucks.

If Sam wasn't talking about "himself", who was he talking about?

Well he was talking about Fiona's boyfriend but i had already forgotten his name when Sam brought it up again and was wondering why he said that. I was in my turn-off-the-brain-and-enjoy mode and that kinda confused me.

I'm better now.

Yeah, it was Fiona's boyfriend's name (Sam and he were both in the ambulance at the time), but all I could think of was that he was referring to himself :D

I looked this up as well while watching because I knew he looked familiar.

Wow, he got ... old. :D

I think he played a teenager for about 15 years. He played a teen in Home Improvement, Buffy, and Veronica Mars. I figured he couldn't get away with it for much longer.

someone is going to kill you...me

that was great but i think she woulda screamed :)

i like that the kid died..for once not happy ending and everyone ok in a show. I guess the new boyfriend got a good breaking in pretending to be the ambulance guy.

He wasn't pretending. He is an EMT.

I knew there was something familiarly cute about the step-mom, then I realized she had played Trina's sister on Rodney (for the three or four of you out there that remember that show).

And is one of the more famous Pat-heads out there (for those who remember her when she was still in Chicago)

I'm still very much enjoying the show, but the one thing that is starting to bother me is how Michael gets the "client" every week. They seem to be really stretching the whole hes a friend of a friend of a friend angle to come with the plot each week. Michael just needs to set up some kind of investigations company or something so we don't have to jump through some ridiculous hoops each week to explain how this person came to Michael in the first place.

I thought the episode was great! I love in the first therapy session, the therapist says that he senses a lot of negativity and Mike points to his mother, but hides it with his other hand. I get a little tired of the burn notice story going nowhere but generally it doesn't bother me. I try and put it in the back of my mind and enjoy the story of the week.

I just watched this episode and while it had some fun moments, it didn't jump out as a great episode. I did enjoy Fiona and the new boyfriend. Campbell. And of course Sam's "he's not a Campbell" line.

It was an alright episode. When Michael found out the second hitman was going ram the car with the truck and he couldn't get in touch with Fionna because of the cellphone jammer, I kind of rolled my eyes.
I was watching that and thought 'wow, how could Michael get there in the old beat up truck so fast.' But it is tv so I went with it.

Btw, was the son the older son from Home Improvement? Kinda looked like him.

I was also struggling with whether he was or not. About halfway thru I decided he was, then I spent the rest of the time wondering how he chunked out so much, how he could be a younger brother for Anthony Michael Hall, and how someone that big would let all these guys pick on him and beat him up.

When Michael got the woman/client in the bathroom not to scream just by telling her he was on her side, I thought it a stretch. Maybe there could be an investigation firm that Fiona runs and Michael moonlights at.

More like he got really FAT...I barely recognized him even though I saw him in Toyota Drift a while back.

Best line of the show was Fiona talking about her new boyfriend "coming with his own ambulance..." I didn't get that for a couple minutes and when I realized they were going to use the ambulance to fake the ladies death, it cracked me up.

Yeah, I didn't get that one right away but, when I did, I chuckled, too. (but I feel pretty good about myself, since I got the "He's not a Campbell" line right away :D)

And anyway, would you trust some guy you only met on the internet to get the job done? Makes sense that he'd have second thoughts and look for a local alternative, especially since he was in a hurry (no telling when dear old dad would kick off).

I'm left wondering what they're going to tell her dying husband about his son.

BTW, I only recently started watching this show regulrarly, and I missed the first episodes of Season 1; I assume there's some part of his Burn Notice situation that keeps the authorities from asking too many questions? A faked death and a dead son, both in a wealthy family, seems like it would be hard to explain away...?

Just another one of those shows where you just have to go with it - don't think too much just enjoy the entertainment. That's what I do anyway :)
