Haven't seen any recent activity on the "vonage can't call" threads. I was ignoring it, until one of the machines got lucky and managed to complete a call, and got the latest update. (after 120 days of not getting thru). So I have been spurred into trying to get the other machine to actually connect and get the update.
I read the old threads, and tried the NYC numbers, and the various #0xx codes that apparently tell the tivo modem things. No luck...
I am using the Vonage brand voip box. The network speed isn't an issue (fiber). Are any other brands of box better, or is the problem at the far end.
Anyone want to recommend a site that documents how to get an external modem connected.
