Remote Codes for Sony HT-SS2000?

I can't get the Tivo Remote to recognize the volume controls on my Sony HT-SS2000 home theater system. I've tried every code listed in the documentation, but none of them work. Is there some trick to this, or is this "Sony being Sony" again?

Its sony fault, about 6 years ago they changed factory default codeset(AV2) in their av receivers, it wasn't a clean break. They allowed the user to switch to the old codeset(AV1) on many of their receivers, so oem remote manufacturers didn't think it was necessary to include this new codeset in their remotes, like tivo. Even sony to this day hasn't included it in their own oem remotes.

Now sony is making receivers and systems that are stuck on AV2 codeset, and can't be rolled back to to the old AV1 codeset, sorry unless you have GLO tivo remote with learning feature you're out of luck. :(
