Look at "my shows" while watching TV

I want to be able to look at my recorded shows without the current show I am watching actually stopping. Much like you can watch live tv and look at your guide, which just appears in front of the live tv. Somebody told me Tivo recently released this feature and I wanted to know if this was true, and how to active it?

I haven't seen it.

The best you could do is boot up your laptop and use TIVO2Go to browse your available programs. :cool:

Actually, they did the opposite in 9.4. You can browse the Live program guide while playing back a recording.

Okay that's good, so if I can browse the 'tv guide' while I am playing back a recording that would be great... but what about browsing my 'recorded show list' while watching stuff as well... still cant' do that?

No, but the live TV buffer will continue to record while you're in the Tivo menus, so you can go back to where you left off, as long as you don't stay in the menus more than 1/2 hour or the Tivo decides to change tuners to record something else.
