TTCB - non Tivo HD files (mkv, avchd)?

Now that we have 9.4, does TivoDesktop support TTCB of non-Tivo HD files? Things like AVCHD and MKV? I know the S3/HD can play these files natively with the chip in there.

Or do I need to use one of the alpha-versions of third-party TTCB programs?

File uploading of h264 video (AVCHD/MKV) to the Tivo ala TTCB (aka HMO) is not working. Seems Tivo hasn't enabled it yet.

HME app playback of h264 video is working, but HD resolution results are very mixed. You just can't stream AVCHD ts streams or MKV files directly to the Tivo HME apps, they have to be converted to MPEG4 first and that is proving difficult. See the tivostream thread.
