I am not receiving an email confirmation from my TiVo that a show was scheudled, or that it wasn't due to a conflict. I have several series 2 boxes all on 802.11g. One is connected to a cable box, the other directly to the cable from the provider.
I do get the first email from TiVo's site saying that they received my online request to schedule a show, and there is a message on the TiVo itself that a show was scheduled, but no 2nd email.
Anyone else?
Yes, I've been having the same issue with my TiVo HD. I get the first email, which says that I'll get a follow-up email letting me know whether the scheduling worked -- but no such results email ever gets sent.

I have the same issue with series 2. I think I got a confirmation once in the 3 days I've owned the TiVo. I scheduled 2 recordings from work today (was so exciting been waiting to do that forever!) and I got the confirmations they received my request. I wanted to time it to see how long to get the confirmation but nothing. I got home checked messages on the TiVo and both were scheduled.

Yeah, if it is scheduled, no problem, but if it isn't, then you have no clue until it may be too late. I used to get a "not scheduled due to a conflict" and it would tell me what was conflicting. Then I could either overrride with another scheduling, or try one of the other TiVos I have.
Of course, TiVo should be able to automatically move show schedules between TiVo's on my network so they are captured on one of them.

Well, something must have been fixed, and I suspect on Tivo's end. I just got 6 notifications last night encompassing the last 3-4 weeks worth of scheduled TV shows saying the programs were accepted. Anyone else get this? I'll have to test today to see if the responses are now timely or if several weeks is the norm.

I got an older confirmation email last night as well. Just one though.

Yep--got a confirmation last night for a program that's been watched and deleted more than a week ago.

Ditto...got a confirmation e-mail overnight on a show scheduled online a few days ago (which was recorded several days ago).
Looks like there was a TCO enema administered by Doc Shanan...

Sorry for the old emails, folks. The log jam was finally cleared last night.
When your DVR receives the initial request, it attempts to schedule the program. Once it knows whether that can be done or not, it sends an update to our servers, after which the second confirmation email is supposed to be sent out. Under normal circumstances, a broadband-connected DVR should generate the 2nd message within an hour or two. A DVR connected via phone is going to a day or two depending on the timing of scheduling and the calls made by the DVR.

Thanks, Jerry. Only one question -- Did Shanan clear the "log jam? :D
