Hey guys, Please please please dont crush me cause i know this is n00b type stuff here.
I had comcast HD for years and it synced fine with my Series 2. We just split the signal out of the wall and ran one cable to the HD receiver and the other to my TiVo. I didnt get HD on the TiVo obviously but that was ok with me.
Well I just moved and for the first time in my life got DirecTV with an HD receiver. I would like to hook up my S2 just so i have it accessible on another one of my TV's inputs, just in case I'd like to record something.
But I'm pretty sure I can't split out of the wall prior to running it to the receiver. Ive done some looking around at other threads and this seems to be the case. From what I have learned it might be possible to split AFTER the receiver but since I run HDMI out of it and my S2 has no HDMI in I dont know if there is anything there that could be split in the first place.
Simple question: how do i get my TiVo to work?
I feel lame for asking since it seems so easy but I am stumped.
Thanks guys,
