My HDVR2 has bit the bullet =(

I've got a hughes HDVR2 that was original when I signed up for DTV some *cough* 7 years ago.. about a year or so ago it was upgraded to a 300gb hdd and the Tivo Unleashed software..

Recently i've been getting heavy pixelization and random reboots.. I dont know if its just my drive, or if its my reciever..

Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks in advance for your help!

9 times out of 10 its the drive. :)

If your old drive (prior to the 300gb upgrade) is still
available and it was working at the time of replacement
you could swap it into your unit to see if the problems
go away. If the problems go away then it is the newer
drive that is causing your issues. If the problems remain
then something else is the root cause (power supply,
cabling, fans/heat, etc.).
