No sound on all OTA channels

Last night I set my HR10-250 to record the Democratic National Convention on OTA NBC. When I got home and tried to watch it, the picture was fine, but there was no sound. As I tuned to different channels, I noticed there was no sound on any OTA channels, but all the satellite channels did have sound.

I remember having missing sound a couple of years ago on version 6.3a or b but I have never had a missing sound problem on version 6.4.

I re-booted the receiver and the sound returned on all OTA channels.

It's probably explainable, but probably also hard to prove the explanation, unless the HR10 does logging somewhere, and regardless, users can't access it so it will probably still be a mystery.

But since there is a service that reads the PAT or Program Allocation Table which keeps track of which audio pids relate to which video pids, if that service spontaneously quit working or got stupid somehow, that would be at least an educated guess at what likely happened. If the DVR can't figure out where the proper audio file is to go with the video file you select for playback, silence is probably the predicted outcome. If it happens on multiple programs, that sort of points away from the programs themselves having audio or PAT problems.
