Hr10-250 Sata drive

Sorry to beat a dead horse, but,

I couldn't figure out if a SATA drive would work in the HR10-250 with an IDE adapter.

Fry's has a great deal on the SATA 1TB drive and would like to buy an used HR10-250 and hack it with the new drive. (I hate the HR20 UI)

Is this possible? I have read people are going to try it post the results, but never saw anyone confirming one way or another.

There was an old thread about using a SATA to IDE adapter, but I don't remember if it was tried. I think it was mentioned that there might not be enough room in the case for the adapter. Also, if there is, it would affect the cooling.

Did you check the upgrade and underground forums?
