No Audio on Optical Port on Series 3 (after 9.4 software Upgrade)

I have been using my S3 optical port for audio for many months now.

I just got the 9.4 software (7/30/08) and noticed that my optical out no longer works. Not sure if there is a correlation with the 9.4 upgrade, but it sure is a coincidence to have this occur about the same time.

I have contacted Tivo support and they promissed to talk to some engineers and get back to me.

Any one else have audio problem via the optical port (with or without 9.4 software)?

Optical audio works fine on both of my S3s with 9.4. Make sure that the optical cable is firmly seated at both ends
