Is there hope my DSR704

I have a Philips DirecTv Series 2 Tivo DSR704. I keep getting a "Searching for satellite" message. The coax is fine. It works on the other channel and another unit. There was no known power surge or storms in the area. I have done all the usual things to get it back, but to no avail. Is there a fix to it on the inside or is it done for?

I've seen others mention a company called CCS Corporation which claims to fix any satellite receiver that receives DirecTV, including TiVo-based ones.

I haven't had a reason to use their services, so I can't offer any personal experience one way or the other.

It could be the sign of a bad or failing multiswitch which may be cheaper than a CCS repair.
