Lifetime Service on Multiple Tivos

Does anyone know when Tivo started offering a discount for lifetime service on multiple units? I just found out by clicking around the Tivo website that a lifetime is 399 for new subscribers, but 299 for additional units in the home. I bought a lifetime in February and was charged the entire amount.

I did the same thing, and did go through Tivo to see if I could get a price adjustment. It was a definite no-go.

You might want to try going through your credit card company. Some offer a price protection period, most being 60 days.
