Lost 80, 82, 86 on HR10 with 3.5

but I didn't lose these channels on my HR10 with 6.4, guess I have to let the software upgrade? I also lost these channels on my HR20 and was hoping they would appear on 39X but the didnt.

Anyone else experience this?

The HR10 will need to upgrade to 6.4a.

You may just need to get DirecTV to reauthorize your access cards.

Have you selected the 390s in your guide on the Hr20?

The 390s dont work on the HR20. I really like my HR10 zippered version and have no problems with 3.5 so it will be difficult for me to change to 6.4a.

I dont understand the comment about reauthorize your access cards, can you tell what makes you think that? I always thought that if I called them they would say time to delete those channels.

The channels you lost are the east coast "distant networks". DirecTV took these away for most people as of August 7 if you have HD locals available in your area. (I had also seen August 17 listed.) Because, i get the east coast versions very well on my HR20. And, since HD locals aren't available here, I get the east coast HD DNS on the 80s as well.
