I was transferring two programs from my PC to the TiVo using TiVo Desktop. During the first transfer, the laptop shut down (ostensibly to install updates). The TiVo's transfer was placed on standby. When the PC was restarted, instead of continuing the transfer of the first file, what had been transferred to the TiVo was deleted and the transfer of the 2nd file started.

a) Why wasn't transfer of the first file was resumed?

b) Was the file really deleted, or is it left on the TiVo (no listing, but taking up space), and

c) Is there a way to determine b).

THANKS!!!

I think I know what happened: In Recording History in the To Do List, the aborted downloads are shown as not having been transferred due to "corruption" or having been "deleted" from the server. Which makes sense, and also implies any fragments were appropriately deleted from the TiVo. So there.
