Dolby Digital Losing Center Channel

I have Timewarner and OTA. During the olympics I noticed I was losing the Center channel on Dolby 5.1. Not completely but in and out, and sometimes garbled. It was happening on OTA NBC as well as cable.

Will reboot the TIVO HD tomorrow, and the check the wiring on the AV JVC receiver.

I have had that happen here with our local NBC affiliate in the past. Even has happened with OTA direct to TV. In my case it has been a problem with the local telecast originating from the affiliate.

This problem has occurred for me two or three times in the last year and it was the fault of the Cable/station in all cases, for one of the times i had a high end Comcast tech come to my home and he said it was a head end issue that Comcast was trying to solve, it been over 4 months and i have not had that problem again.
