Hi all-

I just brought home my new samsung ln52a750, beautiful TV. Unfortunately things aren't going as planned.

I tried all of the samsung codes to switch the inputs. 0092 sort of works, but it leaves the input selection menu up.

Anyone know of any other codes to try? Or, any tips on getting the input menu to go away?

Thanks,

-jamie

Tivo remote will change the Input for those TVs with discrete codes to change inputs. Those TVs which use the scroll-thru-a-list method are not always supported. However, I have this method for my Panasonic Plasma and it works since each time I hit the input button it steps thru the list. When I'm done the menu goes away after 10 seconds. Not sure if the Samsung will work this way.

Ahh, I was impatient-- it did go away (after a minute). I will try to dig through the menus on the tv to see if I can cut this down.

jrm01,

I also have a Panasomic plasma. How do I set the discrete coded on my peanut to change the A/V input? I have the same issue of the menu coming up but not being able to move on it.

When the menu comes up just hit the input button on the tivo remote again and it will cycle thru the choices. Menu then goes away after a delay.

I can cycle through them no problem. The problem is that it takes 60 seconds for the menu to go away.

Strange. I have the 42px75u and it goes away in 5 seconds (just timed it).

I got a warranty replacement (I think a 550) which, unlike the TV it replaced, has the scroll menu. I found that hitting the volume button on the Tivo remote made the input scroll selection menu on the TV go away immediately.

Thanks for the tip!

Works great now

Can I program the peanut to turn my projector on/off? I have a Mitsubishi projector and I would like to use the peanut to turn it on/off since my audio system can be controlled by the peanut. Any codes I would need for that? I appreciate the help. Thanks.
