Yesterday, my RCN affiliate (Arlington/Boston) went all digital (without sending me any kind of notification). This left all my SDTVs without cable. After paying a visit to the local office and getting digital boxes for all my TVs and setting them up, I went to check my TivoHD w/cablecard to see what effects the changeover had.

Turns out that RCN's changeover also moved all my digital channels around. My season passes were all messed up and so is my guide data.

I was hoping that by this morning Tivo would have gotten the updated channel data, but unfortunately it didn't.

I re-ran the guided setup to see if there would be a new option for RCN that had the new lineup. Unfortunately, nothing.

Has any other RCN customer experienced this in my market or others? Is there anything I can do to fix it or should I wait on Tivo to get new guide data?

I'm in the Watertown, MA market (part of Boston) which switched in July. To get the new line-up with everything intact, you have to do "System Reset"/"Repeat Guided Setup" and choose the digital lineup. That's the only way to switch to the new line-up (at least on a Series 1).

I see that you did this but it is the proper way AND the line-up should be an option.

I did it with my Philips HDR212 Series 1 and all was well. All Season Passes and other scheduled shows automatically switched channels. All saved programs were intact. There are defaults to existing settings all the way through the process.

On my Series 1, I also had to switch my connection to cable box with Audio/Video In. I wonder if that difference in the HD and Series 1 systems could relate to the Digital line-up showing up?

(Speaking of Series 1, I learned the hard way that the Philips has an IR blaster mounted in the front of the unit in addition to the 2 included wired ones. Since the new Motorola DCD2224 analog-to-digital converter and the Motorola DCT6416 III HD DVR box use the same codes, and since TiVo long ago dropped support for a serial connection, I have to cover a unit to keep the TiVo from changing the HD channel (My old TiVo is in the same room). It bounces off the walls and finds the DVR.)

Nope, after going as far as a complete clear all and reset, I reran guided setup and I'm still getting incorrect guide and channel data.

Tell TiVo about it here:

When this does get straightened out you may still have to repeat guided setup if the name of the lineup is different than the one you are using now. Doing anything like clearing all of the program information and to do list first is an unnecessary waste of time.

I've bumped into the same problem with FiOS here in Richmond Va. Seems that the last properly synch'ed up recording was last night at 2am, east coast. None of my season passes worked correctly all day. Ran guided setup twice with no improvement. I submitted a report to Tivo support.
The wifey is all buzzed off too. She says why isn't the Tivo working, Honey? I told her the guide was broken so she says "Well get with it and make a new one"!

It looks like Tivo has finally sent the update. I re-ran guided setup again this morning before work and saw there were two new options for my area.

RCN Digital Rebuild Basic and
RCN Digital Rebuild Extended.

I used extended and went through most of my channels and everything appears to be right again.
